Selection Criteria

Queen, age 16 to 19

First Attendant, age 16 to 19

Miss Stampede, age 13 to 15

Princess, age 8 to 12

Contestants are judged 50 percent on horsemanship and 50 percent on personality, appearance, speech, modeling, and congeniality.  The Queen receives a saddle or chaps, a $500 scholarship, and buckle and tiara.
